Week 6 - Experimentation

This week I began the experimentation. In week 5 I looked at different styles of work that I wanted to try out in a more illustrative way, so I began by doing potato prints and apple prints! These gave a nice effect, it was inspired by the cover of "The Snow Child" which is a simple white print on blue.

 

I have also looked at paper silhouettes and other paper crafts such as quilling and cutting. Although I will experiment further with these methods in my scrap book, I believe that if it is possible to achieve the same effect in Illustrator or Photoshop I will go with it as paper crafts can be very time consuming.
