I am currently in final year of the Design for Visual Communication course, UUB, however I am from Donegal. Here I have studied key features of Graphic Design such as Advertising, Branding, Illustration, Motion Graphics, Typography, and Photography. Although we don’t do much work in Web Design, this is something I would like to keep involved with in my free time.
In the past few years I have been learning how to use a wide variety of Software packages, such as the Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash. My weapons of choice are my Wacom Graphics Tablet, my Nikon D5000, my MacBook Pro, and a good black pen!
Just for kicks I love to do a bit of sketching in my free time, on any medium that I can get my hands on. I’m always trying to learn new things and try to do a lot of mixed media pieces in my creations, as you will see in my gallery. I love my dog, Holly, sailing, swimming, and anything that can make me and/or the people around me laugh!
In the future I hope to focus strongly on Branding, Advertising, and Illustration, with a touch of Motion Graphics and Web Design. Fingers crossed!!
